Dear Diary, not much in the mood for writing tonight, but here is my entry for today...
- Thanks to the ladies who treated us all to black cherry ice cream this afternoon!
- Congrats to Araceli our amazing student who won the DUE award. Hope to make the ceremony!!
- Alan and I created a "pleasure book" tonight. It's basically a scrapbook of everything he loves, from music, to the solar system. There is a picture of Johny Cash, Santa, a firetruck, frieda fuzzypaws, candyland, family photos, etc. It was a fun project to start tonight. FYI, he said Bob's dinner was "awesome". He ate pork chops and carrots and ravioli!
He wanted to put food pictures in the books as well...LOL. We are still reading Aesop's fables after grace, and tonight it was about greed....it was a great springboard for a discussion about toys, etc.
Just a regular day!! Tomorrow...TGIF.....have a few weekend outings planned...
